Health and Safety Policies
We are looking forward to seeing you at the next Greater Philadelphia Homeschool Science Fair!
Health:
In general, we are following the COVID policies of our event hosts, venues, and/or local guidelines.
In those cases where there are no specific requirements regarding COVID testing or vaccination, we require anyone experiencing COVID symptoms – or any symptoms of any illness – to not attend the event. We ask that those with known, recent exposure to COVID self-test immediately before attending the event, and to refrain from attending if the test is positive.
Wearing a mask and/or social distancing is welcome at any GPHSF event.

We will continue to monitor all local and national recommendations & reserve the right to change our policy in light of current circumstances up till the day of the event.
All those who attend an in-person event are implicitly acknowledging that such attendance presents some level of risk regarding COVID and other communicable diseases.

Possible accommodations: digital judging, social distancing from other attendees, masked judges, remaining in large rooms with excellent airflow and ventillation.
Safety:
The science fair is open to the public!
Parents and guardians are required to monitor their own children throughout the entire day of the fair.
Children may not explore the building on their own or be unsupervised in any activity space.
Fair volunteers are not responsible for your children at any time.
Volunteers over the age of 18 are required to submit their childcare clearances before participating in the fair.
